Lost Caravan Corvette Club: The LCCC is internet-based and encourages members to get together throughout the year for car shows, activities, and one big cruise-in each year to connect with other members. Individuals can choose a lower annual fee for membership, or there is a lifetime membership available.

Corvette Club of South Florida: This club was organized in March of and has charity work as its focus, second only to enjoying Corvettes. They participate in car shows, Autocross racing, and other social events. Capital City Corvette Club: The site offers apparel, event flyers, and opportunities for community involvement. North Shore Corvette Club: Sponsored by Liberty Chevrolet in Libertyville, Illinois, the North Shore Corvette Club contributes to the community in activities such as collecting toys for local children and food drives.

When we got all of the participants in and parked we had 85 corvettes and 48 street rods and classics for a total of cars. In addition to the drivers and their guests we had paid spectators attend the show Best of Show: Special thanks to those who stepped up to help us with registration, parking cars, spectator gate, ballot counting for the awards, and selling raffle tickets.

Beautiful blue skies, plenty of sunshine and temps in the 80s — a gorgeous day for a Corvette cruise.

Car Show and Swap Meet Dates

We had 32 Vettes and 58 participants that included several possible new club members. The cruise ran about miles, with several great new roads, and a few too many roundabouts to make things interesting. Good roads, good food, good times. Thanks to hose who came and hope you enjoyed the cruise.

Everything was going well until we lost a Viper in the outside wall coming out of turn 2. I want to thank everyone that came up and participated.

Corvette Events & Trade Shows

A special thanks to all the volunteers that came up and helped. It was about 68 degrees, light breeze, and mostly overcast. We had a very good turnout: There were 44 drivers plus 3 for track touring.

For several drivers it was their first time with us. Especially the first timers. Saturday morning kicks off with over Corvettes meeting at Onalaska Park, followed by a mile cruise through the rolling countryside in Southern Wisconsin. Saturday evening consists of a banquet, with a Sunday brunch at a local golf course finalizing the event. Click for details The Firecracker Cruise is held each year the weekend before July 4th. The Firecracker Cruise was held June 23rd and was a success.

We had very nice weather and a good turnout with 64 enthusiasts, 37 plastic cars, and 1 metal car. One of our folks had some mechanical issues and were able to get assistance from the Dahlquists — Thank you to Barb and Roger!! What a terrific group we have. Despite the starting point bar and grill being closed we were able to get the cruise started without a hitch. Some folks met at the Bungalow for breakfast prior to the ride.

There were some straight a ways and some curves with some roads that needed some attention, but overall pretty decent. We arrived in Menomonie at noon and enjoyed a decent lunch stop at the Stout Ale House and left at 2: The parking lot was full of Corvettes giving the local fans a chance to check out the awesome cars.

At lunch, we shared our car and driving stories always stating how we tried to maintain the speed limit. Leaving Menomonie, on the second leg we drove through town and all the locals were in awe with the procession of sports cars. Once we got outside of town we regrouped and had another 63 miles of spirited roads. Who was that guy in the red convertible? We had a hard time keeping up with that him on County Road X and A. We ended the cruise at The Bluffs Bar and Grill in Hager City for refreshments and some more storytelling and farewells.

What a good group and a very good time we had.

Hamburger, Fries, and Catch-up is held the first Saturday of each month, hosted by a different SCM member each month, and is usually held at a different location chosen by the hosting person or couple.

We meet throughout the year, which gives members, prospective members, and guests an opportunity to discuss Corvettes, current events, vacations, and any other topics they are comfortable with.
